Rev. David Gruber has a heart-felt passion for discipleship, evangelism and teaching God's truth in practical, everyday language. He made the decision to receive Christ's forgiveness and new life back in 1978, and has been actively serving the Lord in full time pastoral ministry since 1985. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree with a double major (Pastoral Ministry and Bible) from Ft. Wayne Bible College, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, that same year as well as his ministerial license.
Immediately having the opportunity to serve in a new and growing church plant called Fellowship Missionary Church in Ft. Wayne, Pastor David was the Associate Pastor for Adult Ministries. He was responsible for the training and organizing of the small group ministry, establishing and leading the spiritual gifts discovery ministry, and was very involved in administering the adult education program as well. Since that time Pastor David has been privileged to serve as an Executive Pastor at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, Illinois; he has also served as a senior pastor in two traditional, established churches.
Since the summer of 2006, David has been involved in planting, cultivating and leading WhiteRose Fellowship Church (through which he is licensed and ordained) in the Peoria, Illinois area, which the Lord is graciously and abundantly blessing. He serves the church as the Senior Pastor and an Elder.
David is married to Diane, who is a full-time teachers’ assistant for special-needs children. The Grubers are proud parents of a son who serves in the United States Navy, and a daughter who works with a real estate company. David and Diane have full and busy lives, and are honored to serve God by serving others in His name!
